Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps on D-Day

Troops from the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps (RCOC) were attached to the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division and the 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade for the Normandy campaign. The RCOC supplied items such as ammunition, clothing, and equipment. No troops of the RCOC landed on Juno Beach on D-Day, they landed in the days following beginning on June 10th, 1944. Troops from the British Royal Army Ordnance Corps did land there on D-Day to support and supply the Canadian troops fighting in Normandy.
