Our Legacy of Honour Veteran interview video series began six years ago. We have generated 25 unique interviews featuring Second World War Veterans. Sadly, many of them have passed away since they shared their memories with us. In 2024 we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). In this video, four of the Juno Beach Centre’s Legacy of Honour Veterans share stories about their service with the RCAF in the Second World War. The complete versions of each Veteran’s video are available on our website and they are also featured in our new temporary exhibition, Rising to the Challenge: The RCAF in the Second World War, which runs from March 2024 to December 2025.
