Summer Institute and Battlefield Tour

 

A Professional Development Tour for Educators with a Passion for Canadian Military History

Since 2005, the Juno Beach Centre has provided over 350 Canadian educators an exciting professional development opportunity to discover the Canadian First and Second World War historic sites in Belgium and France. During this ten-day tour, participants visit the Canadian battlefields at  Vimy Ridge, Dieppe, the D-Day landing beaches, and the Falaise Gap, as well as additional stops at memorials, museums, cemeteries across France.

Applications for the 16th edition of the Summer Institute in Summer 2026 are now open. Applications are due January 25, 2026. Tour dates are July 25–August 3, 2026.
