From Vimy to Juno: An Introductory Webinar
Please note: We apologize that this event is only available in English.
From Vimy to Juno bridges the first half of the 20th century, exploring the events and impact of two World Wars on Canadians. As an educational resource, it features personal stories as a means of exploring history. With over 300 digital materials – including photographs, personal letters, press clippings, audio recordings, and more – it is a useful tool for teachers, students, and anyone interested in learning about this tumultuous period in Canadian history.

From Vimy to Juno features personal stories like that of Allan Bundy, the first black Canadian military combat pilot to serve with the RCAF during the Second World War.
The From Vimy to Juno webinar introduced attendees to the many interactive elements of the website and featured a panel of experts who were involved in its creation. Panelists answered questions about the value of the website as an educational tool, expanded on the historic content, and spoke to the development process.
