The Juno Beach Centre presents the civilian and military war effort in Canada and on various fronts during the Second World War. The museum was inaugurated in 2003. Since then, our main missions are the transmission of memory and education to younger generations.

 

Opening hours & entrance fees

The museum is opened every day.

May, June, July & August > 9.30 am – 7 pm
March, April, September & October > 9.30 am – 6 pm
February, November & December > 10 am – 5 pm

The museum is closed on December 25 and all of January.

Free admission for people with disabilities and reduced price for their companion.

Guide or assistance dogs are allowed in the museum.

MOTOR DISABILITY

The visit of the Juno Beach Centre is exclusively on the ground floor.

The visit is composed of seven permanent exposition halls and one temporary exposition hall, and a main atrium (with ticketing booth, gift shop, and washrooms).

Benches and chairs are available.

There is a slight slope present in one of the rooms.

A member of our team will be at your disposal should you require assistance.

The guided tour of the bunkers is unfortunately not accessible to people in wheelchairs. It can also be difficult to access for people with mobility impairments.

VISUAL AND HEARING DISABILITY

The Juno Beach Centre offers magnifying glasses and a welcome package with a map in brail offered free of charge for those requiring them.

The museum also offers a hearing aid.

The Juno Beach Centre offers a web application called Webb Visit, whose settings also for the increasing of text sizes along with the spacing between words, the changing of greyscale and contrast, as well as the ability to put texts in a dyslexic-friendly font.

The staff at reception are available to welcome you as well as to accompany you if needed.

Unfortunately, the guided bunker tours are not accessible to people with handicaps.
