From Vimy to Juno: Canadians Through Two World Wars
More than half a million Canadians saw action in some way through the First and Second World Wars; the entire country felt the impact of these global conflicts. How do personal narratives help to tell a larger story of a country at war? How does a student’s own identity impact their interpretation of Canada’s history? This online exhibition, developed with support of the Virtual Exhibits Investment Program by the Canadian Museum of History and Government of Canada, will provide a wealth of primary resources for classroom use and offer lesson plans based on the historical thinking concepts and inquiry learning.
This virtual exhibit and classroom resource will be launching in Spring 2019! Check back for updates, or sign-up for our newsletter for details.
