Valentine’s Day Fun at the JBC

| February 14, 2015

To celebrate Saint Valentine’s Day, Norman chefs Michel Bruneau and Pierre Levebvre of Restaurant L’Accolade in Caen held a cooking atelier for couples called “Love at First Sight Cooking”. Fourteen couples took part in the atelier, collaborating with the two chefs to create dishes inspired by both Norman and Canadian flavours, which were then shared all together. The Canadian ingredients used are all available for purchase in the Juno Beach Centre boutique: Canadian beer, dried cranberries, maple syrup, and maple sugar.

Thank you to the chefs, their excellent apprentices, and of course all the spectators in attendance. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
