Another excellent cultural exchange day took place at the Juno Beach Centre on Sunday June 24th.
Les Amis du Centre Juno Beach organized their 9th Annual Book Fair which drew a large crowd.
Meanwhile, the Juno Beach Centre team, helped by the members of Les Amis du Centre Juno Beach, set up the stake for the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Bonfire.
The bonfire really got the party started. Louis, Visitor Services Manager, shared more about this French Canadian tradition which is so dear to his heart. Bruno one the Juno Beach Centre guides, entertained the crowd with his violon and taught us some traditional dances.
Thank you all for making this first edition of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Bonfire such a success !
A big thank you Kevin, Technical Manager, the city of Courseulles-sur-Mer represented by Mrs. Phillipeaux and Mr Chopin for this “Lit” Bonfire !
