A Franco-American visit

| May 28, 2016

Two days before the US Memorial Day, a special mention for the group children from Ecole Jules Ferry, Courcouronnes and their American exchange partners from St Richards School, Indianapolis for visiting the Juno Beach Centre this week-end.

Accompanied by the French parents, this group of 100 people visited the museum, followed the “History at your fingertips” educational programs with Matthieu and Scott and picnicked in our multipurpose room. A fun way to share multiculturalism and visit a museum with different generations and in a bilingual setting. Both schools having visited before in the past, even some of the current pupils, it was a lovely occasion for a family visit as well.

Dispatches from Juno shares all the news, events, and stories from the Juno Beach Centre in France and Canada. Interested in contributing a story to the blog? Email the editor at jbca@junobeach.org.
