Religion: Cyril was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Occupation: Before the war, Cyril worked as a newspaper reporter.

Marital Status: Cyril was married to Shirley Helen Mersereau.

Parents: Cyril’s mother was Bridget Mary Estella Mersereau and his father had passed away before Cyril enlisted.

Next of kin: Cyril’s next of kin was his wife, Shirley.

Date and location of enlistment: Cyril enlisted on 6 October 1941 in Fredericton, NB

Medals: Cyril was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the War Medal, and the CVSM and Clasp.
