Success story for Jake’s Gift

| June 3, 2017

The Juno Beach Centre has had the great chance to host the Canadian actress Julia Mackey for 5 performances of her famous play “Jake’s Gift”.

Julia offered 4 performances on June 1 and 2,  2017 to the children of the schools of Courseulles-sur-Mer (Calvados), Cambremer (Calvados), Colomby-Anisy ( Calvados), Creuzwald (Moselle), St. George d’Elle (Manche), the college of Morteau (Doubs), and also to the ladies of the retirement home Westalia of Courseulles. Touched  and delighted, both children and adults asked many questions at the end of the performance.

On June 3, as part of the D-Day Festival, the Juno Beach Centre had the great honor to host and share Julia Mackey’s play “Jake’s gift” for the general public. Thank you to the “Juno Community” who made this a great success.

We thank once again Julia, Dirk (the director) and Rachel (the assistant of the tour in Normandy) for these wonderful memories.
