Saskatchewan First Nations Veterans Association

| April 6, 2017

We were honoured to welcome a delegation from the Saskatchewan First Nations Veterans Association to the Juno Beach Centre, who made Normandy a stop on their way to the Arras region for the Vimy Centennial.
The delegation included CAF veteran Phillip Ledoux of Mistawasis First Nation, whose uncle Charles Mususkapew was killed during the war and took part in the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Many of the other delegates also have direct relations who served in the First and Second World Wars.
Thank you for your visit today and all the best as you continue your pilgrimage to Vimy. We hope to welcome you back to Juno Beach again soon!
