The Juno Beach Centre Adopts an Ambitious Sustainable Development Plan

The Juno Beach Centre in Courseulles-sur-Mer is the first museum in Normandy engaged in an overarching strategy of decarbonizing and sustainable development.

Situated on the channel coast, the Juno Beach Centre is also on the Seulles river and the harbour of Courseulles and is very affected by the consequences of global warming for its own future.

At the museum, the risks of climate disorder on peace and democracy consist in a direct link to remembrance and the environment. It is our duty to fight for environmental causes, in respect of the soldiers from 1944 and the peace that they left us as their legacy.
