Veterans’ Voices

Welcome to our online exhibition “Veterans’ Voices”!

This exhibition traces the journey of 12 Canadian veterans from the Royal Canadian Navy, the army and the Royal Canadian Air Force, who liberated Normandy and France from Nazi oppression during the summer of 1944. We are proud to present Veterans’ Voices alongside our partners, Je Me Souviens and Valour Canada, two non-profit organizations which help Canadians — especially younger generations — learn about the importance of remembrance.

Please use the interactive window below to discover the exhibit (use full screen for best experience).

Erratum: Please note that on page 36 (Samuel F. Wormington) the profile reads “Light Anti-Aircraft Royal Canadian Army”. This should read “Light Anti-Aircraft Royal Canadian Artillery”.
