The tourism season is picking up here at the Juno Beach Centre, and we have just received new merchandise directly from Canada. We encourage you to visit the JBC to discover our souvenirs from the Royal Canadian Legion, exclusively available in Normandy at the Juno Beach Centre!
We’re also carrying new handmade Canadian dreamcatchers. According to Native American myth, the dreamcatcher is an artisanal craft resembling a spider’s web, to be hung where the sun rises so that the light of day may destroy the bad dreams that it ensnares. Acting as a filter, it allows sweet and pleasant dreams to pass through and burns the bad ones at the first light of dawn.
It is also with great pleasure that we have teamed up with Wendy Tancock, a Canadian artist who humorously portrays the classics of Canadian culture on colourful postcards.
We haven’t forgotten about our beautiful Normandy. We showcase Norman culture through various locally sourced items, notably some Isigny Caramels, an indispensable delicacy to bring home as a sweet souvenir.
We welcome you to visit the Juno Beach Centre to discover our broad range of products. The JBC staff will be happy to greet you in the boutique, everyday between 9:30 am and 7 pm.
