Veteran Jaye “Pete” Edwards shares her Second World War experience as an Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA) pilot. She explains how the ATA was formed and how she underwent selection and initiation to fly aircraft for the Royal Air Force. Jaye shares her impressions of the Spitfires she flew and how one time she had to fly one of these fighters to Northern Ireland as part of the effort to supply Malta. Finally, she shares a message of encouragement for future generations.
