Ed Peck

Second World War veteran Ed Peck recounts his experience with the Canadian Scottish Regiment. Stuck as a basic training instructor, he had his father, Cy Peck, a First World War Victoria Cross recipient, fix things so he could go overseas. He joined 1st Battalion, the Canadian Scottish Regiment in France just before the siege of Calais, serving until V-E Day, when he celebrated the end of the European war in London.
