Jake’s Gift Comes to Oakville

| September 28, 2015

The Juno Beach Centre was thrilled to host a reception of friends and supports at the Oakville Performing Arts Centre this past Saturday for a special presentation of Jake’s Gift.

We were especially honoured to have three Second World War veterans in attendance — Jack Hadley of the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada, Jim Parks of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, and Fraser Muir, RAF, Bomber Command.

HMCS Star band were on hand to provide entertainment, and the Honourable Kevin Flynn, MPP for Oakville brought greetings on behalf of the province of Ontario.

A big thank you to all everyone who joined us for this very special evening. We highly recommend Jake’s Gift, should the production come to a town near you. For information about upcoming shows, visit www.jakesgift.com.
