Inauguration of the German Command Post

| June 7, 2015

The 1944 German Command Post outside the Juno Beach Centre was official inaugurated on June 6 by Frédéric Pouille, Mayor of Courseulles-sur-Mer and the Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Ambassador to Canada in France. The ceremony was held in the presence of the rehabilitation project partners and the local volunteers who made it possible.

A new series of photos were also installed to expand on the guided bunker tour, available throughout the day with Juno Beach Centre guides.

We wish to thank the Mayor of Courseulles and all the project partners whose efforts contributed to the success of this unique heritage initiative.
