Garth Webb School Visits the JBC

| March 18, 2015

The tradition continues! We were thrilled to once again host the students from Garth Webb Secondary School, who visited the Juno Beach Centre to unveil a Commemorative Brick and Canada’s D-Day Tribute Marker, which they sponsored in honour of  Pte. James Patrick Williams.

These exemplary students were both conscientious and aware of the privilege of visiting Juno Beach, as well as their responsibility to perpetuate the memory and legacy of their school’s namesake, JBC founder, Garth Webb.

Thank you for your continued support! And thanks to Larry O’Malley, Sandra Rogers, and Pam Calvert for organizing the 2015 tour.

We look forward to welcoming future generations of Garth Webb Secondary School students to Juno.
