From Vimy to Juno to Whitehorse!

| February 23, 2017

The Juno Beach Centre’s Canadian team was thrilled to unveil the From Vimy to Juno travelling exhibit at the MacBride Museum of Yukon History in Whitehorse last night.

During the day, children from three local schools visited the museum to take in the new exhibit and “play” museum curator with the exhibit’s interactive education program. They learned about Canada’s role in the First and Second World Wars and viewed wartime artefacts from the MacBride collection. The students also learned to knit!

Big thanks to Elijah Smith Elementary, Whitehorse Elementary, and Golden Horn Elementary for visiting the exhibit. We hope to welcome you to the Juno Beach Centre someday soon!
