Canada Day 2019

| July 2, 2019

The Juno Beach Centre’s Canada Day celebration was a great success!

More than 200 people (Canadians and French) shared a moment of conviviality with the Juno Beach Centre team who had prepared a festive evening with the colours of Canada.

First, the audience attended The Dirty Bulbs concert. A big thank you for the professionalism of the group from Caen. Then Hayley and Jacqueline, Juno Beach Centre guides, animated a Canada Quiz, with lots of gifts to win. The children met our mascot Juno the Caribou. Attendees enjoyed pancakes and hot dogs and Canadian beer throughout the evening.

Thank you to Jacqueline and The Dirty Bulbs for playing and singing “O Canada”.

Dispatches from Juno shares all the news, events, and stories from the Juno Beach Centre in France and Canada. Interested in contributing a story to the blog? Email the editor at jbca@junobeach.org.
