Conrad Landry honoured in Normandy

Conrad Landry’s Centenary
The Juno Beach Centre would like to take a moment to mark the 100th birthday of Mr Conrad Landry, a veteran who landed on Juno Beach on D-Day.
In France, as in Canada, Conrad Landry was honoured for his 100th birthday last May. Many villages in Normandy awarded him honorary citizenship: Bény-sur-Mer, Bernières-sur-Mer, Basly, Colomby-Anguerny, Fontaine-Henry, Thaon, Rots, Colombelles, Mondeville, Carpiquet and Caen.
Happy 100th birthday Conrad! We wish you all the best! Congratulations for the well-deserved awards in France and congratulations to those who gave you the awards.
