Acadian Ceremony

At the Juno Beach Centre, the annual ceremony was held to pay homage to the Acadian soldiers who landed and died on Juno Beach in 1944 for the liberation of Normandy.

In the presence of Mrs Caitlin Workman , representative of the Embassy of Canada, Mr Frédéric Pouille, representative of Région Normandie and Mayor of Courseulles-sur-Mer, Mr Ocel Dauphinais-Matheson, representative of Veterans Affairs Canada, Mr Philippe Laurent, Departmental Advisor, elected officials, members of the Association of Remembrance,and civilian and military guests.
