It’s an exciting day! The annual order of Canadian goods for the Juno Beach Centre boutique has just arrived at the museum. Our boutique manager, Yaëlle Herbelin is ecstatic. She’ll work hard over the next few days to reorganize the shop in time for the reopening of the museum on February 1st.
A big thank you to the Juno Beach Centre team in Canada who at the end of last year gathered the goods from various providers in Canada (books, DVDs, jewelry, clothes, etc) before shipping them by freight to France last month. Without this transatlantic cooperation, the boutique of the Juno Beach Centre would not be what it is!
These gift items, all related to Canadian history and culture will now find their place in the museum shop, alongside French specialty items, ensuring that our 2016 visitors leave with Canadian souvenirs for some and French souvenirs for others.
We encourage you to come by the Centre to browse our very special Canadian shop in Normandy! Reopening on February 1 during the museum opening hours.
For those who cannot make it to the museum yet, in the mean time, visit our boutique online.
