Beautiful exchange between students and british veterans

Today, the Juno Beach Centre witnessed a beautiful exchange: 48 students from the school Senghor of Evreux had the opportunity to meet british veterans Roy O’Neill and Edwin Jeffery, and ask them questions.
Roy was part of the Welsh Regiment, Royal Corps of Signals and landed in Bernières on June 6, 1944. Edwin was with HMS Vainquisher Royal Navy.
This meeting was made possible thanks to the Deep Respect association and the Comité Juno Normandie. The Museum is glad to be a part of these moments of memory transmission! Thank you Sirs for taking the time to share your stories with the students and the team of the Juno Beach Centre.
