We wish to thank all of you, in France and Canada, who have been pleased for the Juno Beach Centre on the occasion of Prime Ministre of Canada Justin Trudeau and his family last Monday. Thank you for your supportive messages and encouragements.
In many respects, this visit touched on our museum’s core reasons for existing and in keeping with the vision of the veterans who created it. We have experienced a great moment in the history of the Juno Beach Centre.
We wish to say to the friends, supporters, partners, and local neighbours of the museum, that if we were not able to share this private visit, we are proud to have represented our large “Juno Family” and we hope to experience many more events in the future at your side. For the time being, we are welcoming the last groups of young Canadians who are travelling from Vimy Ridge to our shores along Juno Beach and we thank you for the warm welcome they received in Normandy.
Dispatches from Juno shares all the news, events, and stories from the Juno Beach Centre in France and Canada. Interested in contributing a story to the blog? Email the editor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
