A special thank you to Alan Gordon and family from Shelburne, Ontario for their generous donations to the Juno Beach Centre Commemorative Brick program. As a brother of five Canadian veterans: Murray, Richard, David, Bruce and Douglas Gordon, Alan and his wife proudly visited the Centre yesterday as part of an excursion with Avalon Waterways cruises. Like many Canadian families, the Gordons are representative of Canada’s important contribution to the Second World War. Their donations to our on-going Commemorative Brick campaign help to keep the memories of our Second World War veterans alive and supports the financial needs of the Juno Beach Centre.
Thank you for sharing your family’s history with us and for visiting the museum! “We will remember them.” Interested in honouring someone with a Brick at the JBC? Visit our website.
