A Special Donation from the Baker Family

| September 8, 2016

Today, we were honoured to receive a touching and emotional donation.

The Juno Beach Centre proudly acquired Ross E. Baker’s battledress, beret and full medal set. Baker served with 14th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery and landed on D-Day. He also belonged to the 14th Field Association during the post war years, and was instrumental in the creation of the Juno Beach Centre alongside Garth Webb. He passed away in 2015 and it was the Baker family’s wish that his uniform be donated to the Centre.

Thank you!
