Exciting news! The Juno Beach Centre’s next temporary exhibit, From Vimy to Juno: Remembering the Canadians in France, is en route from Canada! Our exhibition design firm sent these images of it’s crating and shipment:
The exhibit retraces two great moments in Canadian history — the Battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917 and the D-Day Landings on Juno Beach in 1944 — and allows visitors to get closer to those who experienced great victories. Embedded with a timeline that retraces the story of Canada’s involvement on French soil in successive steps, the exhibition explores Canadian experiences from the conflicts to their commemoration by future generations.
Opening March 1. Make sure to visit the Juno Beach Centre in 2017 to see this timely exhibition! Teachers, make sure to bring your students to the JBC to take advantage of the exhibit’s accompanying education program — Puzzling Stories.
