14th Annual Remembrance Day Golf Tournament

| December 1, 2016

The Weston Golf and Country Club once again hosted currently serving Canadian Forces personnel, Weston members, and special guests for its annual Remembrance Day tournament, which kicks-off with a traditional service and ends with a reception in the clubhouse. As in previous years, proceeds from the event will be donated to the Juno Beach Centre Association.

2016 marked the 14th anniversary of the tournament, which aims to honour veterans and Canadian Forces members serving today in Afghanistan and around the world. This event was started when a group of members wanted to find a way to expand Remembrance Day beyond the traditional morning service. They decided that regardless of the weather conditions, they would host a golf tournament, donating the proceeds to a worthy Military Foundation.

A big thank you to Jack Brown and everyone at the Weston Golf Club. Because of your support, we were able to raise over $ 10,000!
