100 Yogis on Juno For Peace

| May 10, 2014

There are a thousand and one ways to help preserve the peace we inherited from those who fought in the Second World War and to commemorate their sacrifices. The Juno Beach Centre was pleased to partner on the inaugural Yoga for Peace event, which saw over 100 participants, young and old alike, practice yoga for three hours on Juno Beach yesterday. Although very windy, thankfully the weather cooperated!

Even our Program Manager, Marie-Eve, took part with some sun salutations!

Visit the Normandy Beach Yoga website for more information about their commitment to the study and promotion of World peace.

Congrats to the organizers of this successful and meaningful event!
