A very Acadian Ceremony

Today at the Juno Beach Centre took place the annual ceremony to pay homage to the Acadian soldiers who landed and died on Juno Beach in 1944 for the liberation of Normandy. In the presence of Manon DUMAS, director of the Canadian cultural centre at the Canadian Embassy in Paris, Matthieu CAISSIE, représentative of the gouvernment of New Brunswick in France, Anne-Marie PHILLIPPEAUX, Deputy Mayor Courseulles-sur-Mer,

Emilie GATCHELL, guide at the Juno Beach Centre, who is native of Novia Scotia, was master of ceremony and proud to share her history and tradition with the public.
