This year the Juno Beach Centre celebrated Halloween on Saturday October 26 with a day of activities hosted in partnership with Le Manège aux enfants, l’OMAC and the Town of Courseulles.
All afternoon at the Juno Beach Centre children and adults alike enjoyed improv games with the theater group Madédoine from Caen, participated in outdoor games organised by the Canadian guides of the Juno Beach Centre on Juno Park or took a Halloween-themed selfie.
Improv is a type of unscripted, unrehearsed theatre that combines sport, game and entertainment, while borrowing from the rules of the Canadian national sport, hockey. Teams of actors competed in an arena with a referee. Hilarity and big frights ensued!
Thank you to everyone who came to see the improv teams battle each other in the “Enchanted Area of Juno Beach”! A very special thank you to the family from Whitehorse in the Yukon Territories. It was great to have you with us from so far away!
