Visit of the bunker included in the guided tour of Juno Park

Thanks to the interactive and dynamic exhibit spaces designed for all ages, the Juno Beach Centre is an ideal location to help teach your students about the D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy by taking a close look at the role played by the Canadians.

Guided by two fictional characters, Peter and Madeleine, primary school students can discover the history of Canada from the 1930s, the Battle of Normandy and on to contemporary Canada.

Our young Canadian guides will provide a warm welcome for your group.

QUIZ 2012: A new tool for visiting school groups
QUIZ - Elementary Level

The Juno Beach Centre is pleased to present its new “Quizzes”! With this new tool to orient them through the youth circuit of the permanent exhibits, young visitors aged 8 to 11 years will discover a museum adapted to their level with historical content to which they can relate. They will also benefit from a better navigation through the major themes, including discovery-drawers designed especially for them. The quiz takes into consideration the advice of teachers and has been tested on students. It is also based on school curriculum and adapted to the exhibitions, thus allowing children to get the best out of their visit to the Juno Beach Centre.

To prepare your visit, download and print the Quiz for your students. Caution: The two versions of the Quiz contain the same questions but in different order. This will spread your group throughout the museum during their visit.

On arrival, to obtain the black & white free booklet version of the Quiz (special introductory offer: FREE until June 30th, 2012) or the coloured paying booklet version of the Quiz, please place order on booking your visit: resa@junobeach.org.
