The kids really enjoyed visiting the bunker and the beach. The history truly comes alive when you visit the actual sites. I led another group in 2008 and it was so powerful I just had to bring this group too.

We really enjoyed out visit to the Centre. The authentic artefacts and real-life accounts collected was really helpful in helping picture life at that time. Our guided tour (with Allison) was excellent and really gave us a glimpse into the landing of the Canadian troops on Juno Beach. This visit really increased our appreciation of the efforts of the Canadian forces during WWII.

I really enjoyed the visit, and was impressed by all the resources/diagrams. It was interesting to hear the personal memoirs of Canadian soldiers, as well as even the facts and history of the events. Good use of maps, pictures and different ways to explain history. This captivated the attention easily. I enjoyed the passports in the temporary exhibit, especially learning more about Canadians before and after the War (more personal). The dioramas were a really cool and accurate representation and they helped me to realize how they lived at the time. THANKS FOR THE VISIT!
