We enjoyed visiting the Centre and learning about the reality of the war and the hardships that the soldiers had to endure. It was kind of sad, visualizing the soldiers running from their boats with eighty pounds on their backs while dodging enemy fire. We will never forget this experience.

My overall impression of the Juno Beach Centre is firstly the artefacts are absolutely amazing, especially the objects found on the war site. Also, the introduction movie was interesting, if a bit vague. It was nice to see actual French people participating in the exhibits and learning about history that is not their own. It was all in all an interesting and very informative trip.
