Our group was very impressed with Juno Beach Centre. From the landing craft introduction to the radio broadcast living room presentation our students got a real sense of life in Canada and the war in Europe. The overall quality of the exhibit installation is truly outstanding and we wish that there was something comparable to this in Canada, so that more students could learn to remember.

Very Emotional. This Museum is an amazing tribute to those who lost their lives here. I feel prouder to be Canadian. I am an honoured to have been given the opportunity to visit. If you’re going to make a museum about such a topic, this is the way to do it. Everyone should take the opportunity to come and to learn and to be proud of their history as Canadians.

I am impressed with all that is shown in here. It makes everything seem more real when there are things (pictures, films, etc.) that help us make the connections to the soldiers. I am absolutely grateful for being able to visit a Centre like this because it brings a certain reality to the war which cannot be found in a textbook. All of the exhibits artefacts and videos are effective in telling the stories of the many soldiers. This Center has been extremely educational for the understanding of Canadian involvement in WWII. Sitting in history class was boring indeed but the displays, videos, and interactive exhibits made me actually want to learn more.
