Juno
Beach is an amazing site that is extremely
important to Canadians. Not only did
this act of selfless courage help defeat
Nazi Germany, it also aided in the
establishment of Canada as a nation.
While this event is so vitally important
to Canadian history, many youth do
not even know of its existence. It
is for this reason that places like
the Juno Beach Centre remain here as
a constant reminder of the sacrifice
made by previous generations and to
prevent us from repeating the mistakes
of those who came before.
