The Juno Beach Centre Association is proud to announce the 2017 recipient of the Juno Beach Centre Fellowship program. Congratulations to Desaree Rosskopf of the University of Western Ontario in London, ON!
Desaree will visit the Juno Beach Centre in August 2017 to conduct research on the progression of the memory of Juno Beach and the D-Day Campaigns from different perspectives, including the Canadian Armed Forces, the Canadian Government, and media narratives.
The annual Fellowship Program aims to enrich the academic experience of students as they conduct focused research on Canada during the First and Second World Wars. Their work will complement their own areas of study, as well as contribute to on-going research for upcoming exhibits and projects at the Juno Beach Centre in Normandy.
Best of luck, Desaree!
