History at Your Fingertips


This educational activity is available only at certain dates and for school groups able to spend 4 hours at the Juno Beach Centre

An invitation to dicover historical contents, to manipulate artefacts from the Second World War and to practice public speaking.

Activity "History at Your Fingertips"
Description
In the multi-purpose room, “History boxes” are made available for students to discover contents such as artefacts, archival documents, pictures and historical texts related to themes presented in the museum (the Dieppe Raid, the
D-Day tanks, war crimes, a soldier or an aviator’s biography, etc). Students then practice their communication skills by sharing the information they found with the entire group.


Reservation required

Maximum number of students per presentation: 50

Recommended age group: 13-18 years old

Length of presentation: 1 hour to discover the "History boxes" (in small groups) + 1 hour to share contents as a group (optional).

Cost: 1 euro per student for groups visiting the museum.

Time of presentation: to be determined upon reservation and according to availability of guides.
