August 14 at 2:00pm   Animation with Ryan Doucette from Nova Scotia, Canada. As a comic mime, he presents his one man show. Juno Beach Centre's multi-purpose room. All ages. Free of charge.
August 13 at 10:00am   Commemorative Ceremony to honour the Acadian soldiers from New-Brunswick with the participation of Mr Arthur Haché, Canadian veteran of the North Shore (New-Brunswick) Regiment and of the Honourable Hédard Albert, Minister of Culture, Sports and Francophonie in New-Brunswick. Esplanade of the Juno Beach Centre.
August 11 at 4:00pm   Animation with Weldon Boudreau from Nova Scotia, Canada. Through his songs, he tells the story of life in small Acadien coastal villages and of the heroes that marked him. Juno Beach Centre's multi-purpose room. All ages. Free of charge.
June 26 to July 4   Exhibit of the artistic project of students from Caen Ouest in the context of the temporary exhibit "Voices of the First Peoples of Canada". This project was realised in collaboration with l'Inspection Académique, the Juno Beach Centre and artist Dominique Colas. JBC's multi-purpose room. Free of charge.
July 1   Canada Day at the Juno Beach Centre. Celebration of Canada's national day through animation for schools.

June 6 at 4:00pm

  Song and Drum Concert of the Wshkiigamong Group from Curve Lake Reserve in Ontario, Canada. Esplanade of the Juno Beach Centre. Free of charge.
June 6 at 3:00pm   Commemorative Ceremony for the 64th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Esplanade of the Juno Beach Centre.

Begining May 17

  Opening of a new temporary exhibit on the theme "The Canadians in Italy". The history of the Sicilian and Italian Campaigns with the 1st and 5th Canadian Divisions from 1943 to 1944.
Until April 30   "Voices of the First Peoples of Canada". A unique temporary exhibit created in partnership with the Curve Lake Reserve in Canada to present the culture of Canada's First Nations.
March 22 to September 30   Temporary Exhibit in the lobby of the Juno Beach Centre on the theme "There and Back". A tribute to 12 Quebec veterans with Normand origins who came to liberate Normandy in 1944. An exhibit created in the context of the commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the foundation of Quebec City. Free of charge.
     
2007    
December 22 & 23 and from December 26 to 30 at 3:00pm   Aboriginal Story time during the visit of the temporary exhibit "Voices of the First Peoples of Canada". Admission to the temporary exhibit: 2.50€ / per person. Booking is necessary at 02 31 37 32 17.
December 22 at 11:00am   Arrival of the Canadian Santa Claus in the Juno Beach Centre's multi-purpose room. Free of charge.
December 12 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm   Activities for both children and adults with Dominique Colas and the Juno Beach Centre guides. Creation of an Christmas candle, aboriginal style. Fee: 5€ / person (materials included). Limit of 20 people per workshop. Booking is necessary at 02 31 37 32 17.
December 8 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm   Activities for both children and adults with Dominique Colas and the Juno Beach Centre guides. Creation of an Christmas wreath, aboriginal style. Fee: 5€ / person (materials included). Limit of 20 people per workshop. Booking is necessary at 02 31 37 32 17.
November 11 at 3:00pm   Commemorative Remembrance Day Ceremony with the participation of Gilbert Boulanger, DCF, veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, 425 squadron called "L'Alouette".
November 10 at 3:00pm   Intervention (in French) by Gilbert Boulanger, DCF, veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, 425 squadron called "L'Alouette". Followed by a book signing session of his work "L'Alouette affolée".
November 6 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm   Activities for both children and adults with Dominique Colas and the Juno Beach Centre guides. Creation of an aboriginal dream catcher. Fee: 5€ / person (materials included).
October 31 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm   Come celebrate Halloween at the Juno Beach Centre. Activities for kids of all ages. Free of charge.
October 29 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm   Activities for both children and adults with Dominique Colas and the Juno Beach Centre guides. Initiation to weaving, aboriginal style. Fee: 5€ / person (materials included).

GUIDED VISITS OF JUNO PARK are available each day from April 1st to October 30th (and by reservation throughout the year for groups)


Young Canadian guides help visitors discover the history of the D-Day landings by exploring the remains of the Atlantic Wall and historic beach situated directly in front of the Juno Beach Centre (length of tour: approximately 1 hour).

  • 2 guided visits per day at 11:00am and 3:00pm in April, May, September, and until October 30.
  • 6 guided visits per day at 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm and 4:00pm in June, July and August.

The Canadian D-Day Soldier PresentationEDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS for school groups

" The Canadian D-Day Soldier". A Canadian guide takes on the role of a D-Day soldier from a Canadian regiment and lets the students handle WWII objects.

Reservation required. Thirty-minute educational presentation. Free of charge for school groups visiting the museum. Recommended age group: 7 to 12 years old.
