Faits intéressants et bonne communication. Variété de présentations (film, plage, photos pendant la présentation) pour garder l'intérêt des élèves. Temps pour les questions/réponses.

As a Canadian, I found it quite interesting to discover Canada's impact on the Second World War first-hand. It was neat to be able to visit the beaches and buildings where our soldiers fought over sixty years ago. The tour was quite informative (perhaps excessively so), but it was still a great experience.

To see the broad expanse of open beach, that great plain of flat sand and seaweed opening onto windblown dunes and sparse grasses rippling in the sea breeze, really gave me a feeling of awe for those men who had to shed their blood in this barren land with only ideology behind them - the courage it must have taken to willingly [run] into the crossfire in the name of a land they loved. I will walk away from here with far, far more respect for those who strode proudly into the blood and brine, battle and horror all around them. I will take from here a memory of pride to count myself as a countryman of one of those titans who strode the beaches with heads held high as the world burned around them.
