It was a fantastic experience to visit a Canadian memorial and to see a piece of home at the location where events actually took place. Seeing the bunker and standing on the beach was really cool and gave a firsthand impression of what the soldiers went through. I found the museum and the movie to be really interesting and overall it made me really happy to visit the Centre. It really is a great tribute to Canada and made me proud to be one.

Created deep pride, appreciation, gratefulness for our Canadian troops and lasting sorrow for those we lost. I can only hope that the museum will grow and receive more memorials / personal effects from soldiers to bring the reality of these lost heroes to future generation. Would have appreciated more history and facts of the events leading up to and also during the attack. Might be nice to give each visitor a soldier whose life they can follow and track during the tour, so they can connect on a more personal level. (i.e. the holocaust museum in Washington D.C.). It might have been nice to see the inside museum before the outside tour to get a better background and appreciation of the situation on the beach. […] Thank you for having a place to remember our heroes!
