This is the first time we have had a guided tour of the beach. I found the tour clear and informative for students.

Good to give the students the “Canadian” story both on the beach and in the museum. Parallels much of the info we cover in SS11 and HIST12. Interactive info especially good considering there were few people here when we visited.

We feel the Juno Beach Centre reflects the work and suffering put in by Canadian troops throughout WWII. It educates people about Canadian contributions. We enjoyed the introduction film, exploring the bunker during the beach tour, and the knowledge given to us by Emily, our tour guide.

The creation of the Center is important in the sense that it helps Canadian and foreign visitors remember Canada’s role in WWII. Overall it is impressive and worth visiting.
