My students were deeply engaged both inside and outside the Centre. Several students stayed on the beach and around the bunker long after our outdoor tour and those inside were able to satisfy their interest regardless of the depth they were seeking. Those with a good amount of prior knowledge were satisfied with the depth of information. Others really felt empathy because of the personal studies.

Great. Some re-creations of the beach defences would be good.

This place is amazing. It was very eye-opening to be able to see some of the artefacts left over from World War II. My favourite thing was the German bunker on the beach in front of the museum, I loved being able to go in parts of it and look around during the guided beach tour.

The Juno Beach Centre was great! It helped to further our knowledge about WWII. The set up is very helpful where you have to use your hands and get involved to read more (as if there are activities to take part in). This keeps you busy and more interested. There was also an excellent tour and explanations of the beach and monuments outside.
