Outstanding – Once again, the Juno Beach Centre was invaluable in helping our Canadian and American passport holders to understand North America and its place in the war.

Done very well, gives a great view of what Canada and the men that died for us went through for the freedom that we now have. The sadness that was felt for those who lost their lives for our freedom and what Canada had to do to help the men out at war.

During my class’ visit to Normandy, I was made aware of the loss and suffering of troops especially during, my visit to the Juno Beach Centre. I was also enlightened about how much the Canadian troops contributed to the war, the correction of an error of nation-select information in classes.

I feel a very welcoming and honouring atmosphere here at Normandy. There has been so much joy and sorrows in my heart as I mourn for those who have passed away but also proudly remember these soldiers. It has been such a heart touching experience for me to see that the deaths of the soldiers are remembered and honoured here. Thank you so much for maintaining this Centre and being a memorial for those who gave up their lives for the peace of you and me. God bless.

It really impacted me to see the actual battleground and footage of the battles. I also learned a lot about the Canadian participation in the war. Being here really opened my eyes to the reality of the war.
