My visit to Normandy has been incredibly insightful and educational. I was very impressed with the Juno Beach Centre in particular. It is very informative and provides an accurate depiction of Canadian life during Second World War. I find it fascinating that the Centre provides details both about the war itself and the effort back at home. This makes it much more relatable for Canadians. Being able to see the actual places where Canadian troops fought was very humbling. I can say I am even more proud to be Canadian. Overall, this is a site that all Canadians should have a chance to visit.
