Normandy is amazing; it is saturated in Canadian history. A tour such as ours never seems to disappoint in terms of learning situations. The Juno Beach Centre was extremely well put together and informative. In addition to the excellent audio and video shows, the artefacts and photos tell stories that would otherwise be lost to our new generations of Canadians.

The visit was incredibly moving. The beach tour provided my students with a wonderful perspective of what Canadian soldiers had to endure. The Centre itself was a great didactic experience for all. We owe much to the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our appreciated freedom. Thanks for a wonderful visit. God bless.

Visiting Juno Beach was an amazing experience! It was great to see the museum as well as the beach where so many Canadians courageously sacrificed their life for us.

To walk on the beach where our ancestors once fought for freedom was a humbling experience. At first glance Juno seems like a simple, sandy beach, but the feeling you get when walking in the footprints of brave men is something remarkable. No classroom lesson can bring you this much realisation or this much appreciation, as physically being there has brought us. The Juno Beach Centre has done a wonderful job retelling these stories, and helping us understand the ultimate sacrifices that were made for our lives and our freedom.
