My grandfather fought in the war as a pilot and was captured. He spent 3 years in the German prison camp Stalay Luft and played a role in “The Great Escape”. Coming here was very important to him, myself and my family. After doing the tour and viewing the site, I can say I am filled with pride and respect; respect for my country and a new found respect for my grandfather. I will never forget my trip here. Our guide (Amélie) was fun and very informative. It truly was an experience of a life time.

The tour guide (Amélie) was very informative, funny and showed a genuine, vested interest in Juno Beach. The museum is well laid out, in a very approachable way. Full of information without being overwhelming. The Centre works because it is a Canadian subject presented by Canadians.
